Ministry through: Enrichment Seminars Workshops  Resource Material     The Jim Kane Labor & Love Mission Part II This is your invitation to join the mission team going to Belize to complete the building of the church at San Benito Poite Village.  This remote Mayan village nestled in the foothills of the Maya Mountains was one of the villages visited by the CRM medical team in the summer of 2007.    During the visit, the team was asked to help build a church for the village people.  The response was immediate, and team members had pledged $3,000 toward the project in a matter of minutes.   The late Jim Kane was a member of that team, Jim fell in love with the people of Belize; and, along with his wife Valerie and their children, were making plans to go to Belize as full time CRM missionaries.  Shortly after his untimely death a few months later, it was decided that the mission to build the church would be dedicated to Jim’s memory.  Since Jim had a heart for church planting, it is very fitting that a project of this kind would bear his name.   This will be a special mission, and those who participate will carry with them special memories.  Please help us make the mission an overwhelming success.  We need about 35 volunteers to make up the final construction team.  Team members will be working side-by-side with the members of the Poite church.
